HOW TO CONTROL DISEASE OF HIBISCUS EASILY
I found that many
people are like to purchase Hibiscus plants with different colour combination.
After some day they are facing a tremendous problem of different diseases.
White Powdery Mildew on Hibiscus is a common problem mostly facing by every
gardener. This infection won’t kill the
plant but powdery mildew detract plant from it lush appearance.
If your Hibiscus
plant infect with white powdery mildew, it is important to tackle the problem
as soon as possible. Once the problem is established, it becomes more difficult
to control it.
I share my experiences
how you can tackle it easily in your home garden:
We know that
prevention is better than cure. So try to follow the following instruction
strictly.
1. Try to purchase healthy Hibiscus plants from nursery, because weak and stress plants are more susceptible and prone to diseases.
2. Water your plant at base. Don’t give water on leaves.
3. If it not possible, then water it in the morning because leaves will have enough time to dry.
4. Don’t use high nitrogen fertilizer.
5. Avoid fertilizing plants when your plants infect with powdery mildew.
6. Immediately trim affected part and dispose it carefully.
7. Use Neem oil( 3ml/lit ) as foliar spary every 15 days .
